Aptamil Pepti 1 450g
Suitable from birth for the dietary management of cows milk protein allergy
Cows milk protein allergy (sometimes referred to as CMPA) affects around 27.5% of infants, but most will grow out of it by the age of three. The symptoms can be hard to pick up, even by healthcare professionals, but warning signs can include facial swelling, frequent vomiting, regurgitation, diarrhoea, constipation, eczema or respiratory problems like a chronic cough or runny nose.
If your baby has any of these symptoms and has not been diagnosed with cows milk protein allergy, you should ask your healthcare professional for advice. It is also worth telling them if you, your partner or any of your other children has a diagnosed allergy as it can increase the likelihood of your baby having CMPA. They may then decide to refer you to a paediatric dietitian for further checks.
